Boston College Needs to Start Wade

Darius Wade should start for Boston College on Saturday and the rest of the season no matter if Patrick Towles is healthy or not.  The Boston College offense has not played well enough to win in any of their ACC games so far this season.  The Eagles have yet to score 21 points in a game so far.  Towles has struggled in ACC games, and most recently went just 4-14 for 45 yards against Syracuse on Saturday.  Towles is a grad-transfer from Kentucky, who is out of eligibility following this season.  However, Wade is a red-shirt sophomore, who has two years left after this season.  Starting in the last half of the season will provide him with much needed experience for the future.  Wade could also provide a spark needed for the Eagles to turn the season around.   Even if the change does not work out, what does Boston College have to lose?
