Week 9 Heisman Watch

1. Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Last Week: 20 -34, 355 yards, 3 TDs,  O INT 17 rushes for 76 yards, 1 TD
2016 Stats: 134-230, 58.3%, 2161 yards 18 TD, 4 INT, 130 rushes, 908 yards, 16 TD

Lamar Jackson continued to put up video game like numbers last week against NC State.  Only 24 teams have more touchdowns than Jackson.

2. Deshaun Watson, Quarterback, Clemson

Last Week: Bye
2016 Stats: 164-258, 63.6%, 1950 yards, 20 TD, 8 INT, 71 rushes 279 yards, 1 TD

Watson and Clemson had a bye before a big conference matchup against Florida State next week.

3. Jake Browning, Quarterback, Washington

Last Week: 14-28, 291 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
2016 Stats: 118-172, 68.6%, 1709 yards, 26 TD, 2 INT

Browning was efficient once again as Washington stayed undefeated with a win against Oregon State.


4. Dalvin Cook, Runningback, Florida State

Last Week: Bye
2016 Stats: 159 rushes, 900 yards, 7 TD, 21 catches 356 yards, 1 TD

Cook and Florida did not play last weekend, but face #3 Clemson on Saturday night.

5. Donnel Pumphrey, Runningback, San Diego State

Last Week:24 rushes for 135 yards, 2 TD, 2 catches, 14 yards
2016 Stats: 191 rushes, 1246 yards, 13 TD, 20 catches, 145 yards


Pumphrey rushed for 100 yards for the 6th consecutive game on Saturday, and is the nation’s leading rusher by over 200 yards.
