Week 9 Winners and Losers

Winners:

Florida: Florida picked up a big win over Georgia on Saturday.  Tennessee lost on Saturday as well, giving the Gators a 2 game lead in the SEC East.

Washington:  The Huskies picked up a big win over #17 Utah, arguably their toughest game on the schedule.  In addition, multiple top 10 teams loss, which now gives Washington a chance to make the playoff even if they loss a game.

Losers:

Big 12: There is no undefeated team left in the conference with both Baylor and West Virginia losing their first game on Saturday.  They still are the only 2 teams with less than 2 losses in the conference, but both played bad non-conference schedules which will most likely prevent them, or any Big 12 team, from making the playoffs.

Boise State: Boise lost their first game of the season on Saturday by 2 at Wyoming.  With the loss, it becomes very unlikely Boise will make the new year’s six.  Boise will need to win out, and have Wyoming lose twice in order to have a chance.
